When upgrading to Windows 10, many users encounter a lot of problems, one of them is the problem of connections to Bluetooth audio devices and wireless displays. Whether the Bluetooth not working or they could not find in the device manager.
In the previous Windows versions (7, 8, and 8.1), our Bluetooth devices such as wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, wireless speakers or sound device, and wireless displays are working just fine, but after upgrading to Windows 10 all those devices that using Bluetooth can not work, in quick action bar there is no Bluetooth tile or even you could not find them in the device manager, then what to do to fix it?
How to fix connections to bluetooth audio devices and wireless displays in windows 10
There are some solutions that we managed to collect to fix connections to Bluetooth wireless audio devices and displays in the Windows 10. Here are the solutions recommended by Microsoft:
When you connect your Bluetooth device, click the Connect button. If this does not work, try the following steps:
First, make sure your computer that running on Windows 10 supports Bluetooth. Go to Settings –> Devices –> Bluetooth. Under Manage Bluetooth devices, turn it on. Then you should now be able to see a Bluetooth button in the action center. But if you can’t see the Bluetooth button, try the next step:
Update your Bluetooth’s driver. There are two ways to do this. First, you can do update the driver from Device Manager. Click the start menu, and then type: device manager on the search box. Select it from the search result. When the device manager launched, select your device, right-click (or press and hold) it, select Update Driver Software, select Search automatically for updated driver software, and then follow the rest of the steps.
If you can not update the driver by using the Device Manager, or the driver is not found. You can use an application called Driver Talent, it is very easy to use, the app will scan for the hardware and diagnoses whether there is a problem, then you can fix it if a problem occurs with a single click.
After the Bluetooth driver is updated, your device should can be used. If the previous steps have not been successful, you can remove the device and re-pairing it. To do this go to the Start menu and then type “Devices” on the search box, select Bluetooth, then select the device that not working, select Remove device, and then pair it again.
Here is another solution that we recommend for Bluetooth audio device if all the steps we have done before is not work: Connect the device until you see speaker icon in lower right of the screen, right click on it, then select Playback/Audio Devices, select the name of your Bluetooth device, and then click “Set Default”.
